FILLED – Program Director

We seek a dynamic and innovative leader with proven success in program development and program operations for a senior management position.

The Program Director will be responsible for overseeing the Agency’s NYS OPWDD housing and community-based programs for people with varying disabilities.  This leader will be responsible for both existing as well as development of new services.  Overall leadership and supervision of clinical, managerial, administrative and direct support professional staff, regulatory compliance, budget preparation and oversight, and clinical interaction with families and individuals.

This Individual will lead efforts to improve the level and sophistication of services to clients through employing best practices and outcome-based goals and objectives.  Individual will interact with government officials.

Successful candidate will have significant upper level organizational leadership experience within the field of disabilities or a related field, the ability to work both independently and as part of a group, experience in building and maintaining relationships on multi levels, excellent organization skills, superb verbal and written communication skills, a dedicated work ethic and excellent computer skills.  A competitive benefits package is available commensurate with level of experience.
